Short series
Human Nature
“Human Nature” is about rewilding modern society. Inspired by natural events that I witnessed in a surviving patch of ancient woodland near my hometown, and the emotional uproar of Thomas Hardys’ 1874 novel “Far From The Madding Crowd”, this content explores the lingering connections between people and nature. And why remembering that mysterious part of ourselves is paramount to inviting our Natural World back into our lives, hearts and minds.

Human Nature Part |||; - Rain; The doe.
“ The darkening of the woodland always portrays one of two fates, the coming of night and wild beasts or the coming of rain and wild weather. Its taken bravely by the adventurer, who looking to the desire for shelter and warmth, makes the decision to ignore it and walks deeper into the dark. “

Part two; The Nook or Hollow
It’s a wonder to behold to the human eye and fascinating to be turned over by the mind. But otherwise, it is a normal and comfortable place to be.

Part one; Welcome to Nature.
There is a powerful wildness to human nature, an ember in the back of our minds, waiting for air. This content creatively explores how remembering this mysterious part of ourselves will help us to welcome our Natural World back into our lives and minds; rewilding modern society.
